Just Host Bad Rep?

I hear alot about them, like they're bad and all. Its just the ad's that i dont like at all.
Been hosting with them for quite awhile now. No downtime whatsoever, sites always loading good.
Never opened a support ticket yet Whats all this stuff about them being bad?

I have only heard positive things about JustHost.
Do you know where they cut off for your sites size? Like 100gigs of space or something?

No i don't actually. Just hosting with them, no downtime whatsoever. I like them, another site im hosting with is Host9, support is very bad.

That is a pleasant surprise. They are generally seen as yet another overseller with tons of downtime.

JH has a bad reputation over at WHT, they must be doing something wrong. Look up reviews, that's the only way to find out what is so bad about them.

Yes, that's the most reliable place where you would be getting honest reviews for your preferred webhost. Webmaster around the World do visit WHT and post their opinion and suggestions.

I signed up at JustHost a month ago, and I still don't have a completed site. I am educated (I have a doctorate), reasonably intelligent, but I am NOT an IT specialist. To me, the site seems to presume a person already knows much more than someone like me knows. My experience with the tech help has been terrible. Just terrible. (Read my email exchange with them here:

Not getting ANY help, I set back to the task of trying to figure it out on my own. I entered the Fantastico section to install a content manager, and got an error. I tried another install, this time of WordPress. Same error. And tech's response to my query? Nothing. Nadda. No reply. I likewise did not get a reply when I asked for the name and address of a supervisor. So, hats off to those of you who love 'em, but I sadly cannot join the ranks of those of you who love JustHost.

I feel sorry for you lol, my account with them got deleted a few days ago and i've switched to KnownHost.

Their support seems bad, wasting the time with unnecessary stuff etc..
But I personally believe, you need to do some more r&D yourself and cant really expect a host charging $7 per month to teach you everything! They are just a host and it is not their job to teach you how to create a site. If you are not a technical person, you probably need to hire someone to set up your site. Setting up a custom website takes some skills, you should be looking at a company that offers hosting as well as web development if you don't have the skills.

I have been with them for more than 6 months and did not have any major issue.
The only issue is that they are down too often in my opinion
