Best Hosting Company for me (need advice)

I have a vbulletin forum since 2003. With more than 5000 users. I am hosting my website now with Ipower.com. I lost my database recently I think because of them. Before I upload my backup I want to change with best hosting company for me. And I am concern about the following:-
1- Automatic backup for my SQL database.
    2- 'max_user_connections' it was 50000 with Ipower.com
3- Provides telnet or ssh access since this will make it much easier to backup and restore your database if I ever need to.
4- Requires a web server that includes relatively recent versions of PHP and MySQL.
5- A very dependable costumer support specially for SQL database and vbulletin forums.

thank you in advance for your advice.

InMotion has been excellent on a new install.

      They have 24/7 Support, too.

I've tagged a Virtual Private Server for $49 a month.

Depends on how much visitors per a day.
If you're web site gets 20 thousand visits per a day
            Then you need VPS

Hearty recommendation for Global Gold from me also, a customer since 2000. Regarding their support, I've managed to get hold of Tim middle of the night before without any problems using the 'support' email address.

                  Good luck.

                    How many members per day
How many members active in a 15 minute period
How many mods do you have on your vb forum

all of these will determine what your needs are.
