Hosting advice please.

Hello all. I have a website that is currently using 1and1.com, we have not been able to get into the site for 3 days now....apparently it is a storage issue. We are at 150 mb and had a limit of 100mb. For the life of me I cannot figure out why an email was never sent or a warning of sorts....just poof out go the lights. I am just an enthusiast whom set up a site that now has 550 members and 1000's of threads, pics etc.

My problem is these people are emailing me suggestions to go to dedicted servers at 99/month versus my current 5/month. I'm not sure if I need a dedicated or not. Also, as I explained, I have LIMITED AS IN ZERO, experience in any of this. I need help finding a new host and having them do the backup/transfer of data smoothly and expediently.

We are in Toronto, Canada if that helps with suggestions....

Man an I frustrated.....any help is appreciated.

Hello Rico, there are many hosts out there that would be willing to move your site for you with more space and bandwidth. Search around on the forums here.

Dedicated Server for 150 MB storage ? You need to find an alternative solution. There are many web hosts around. Hope you find the best

You can try godaddy.com. It is a very dedicated web host that offers one of the cheapest deals in town and the customer support is superb. I have been using for 4mths and everything is going well for me.

I just signed up with Knownhost and am very happy. I checked powervps but they are costly and from reading not as good as knownhost anyway.
