They have a very good value, but I want to make sure that I can host my future site on it.

Thats an overseller. There is no such thing as unlimted everything. Stay far away from oversellers.

o ok thanks, because I have no idea

What would be the best host for the lowest price that would sufficiently accomodate a low-member forum?

I would suggest Purgehosting. Very good, Can get 12k of mb for 3.99 a month can get 5k a month for free. And so on. Great support. Thats what im currently running of. And most important its very easy to understand.

Yep im totally agreed . I think we must know this if we wanna open one board ..what the amount budget we have , how many members we target in time & what type vps we choose .

Base my own experience board owner should start with Small Vps first..if your forum getting more members can change to higher Vps .

Regular website Hosting they always have problem ONCE your board overload their cpu . Only vps type hardly create problem .

Yes, upgrading the package as per requirements is always the good option for forums.

Most hosts oversell and not all of them are bad. Obviously they have their own way to kick abusers out.

I have no personal experince with webhostingpad, so I wont make any comment about them.
