    Non-overselling shared hosting site request

OK, so most people do not like the overselling shared hosting sites. But can someone please tell me some shared hosting sites that do not oversell (or at least don't oversell too much) so I can see what they offer and how much they costs? I'm just starting a site and while I don't mind paying a little more for a better shared hosting site I'm no where near ready for VPS or dedicated hosting.

Any help, suggestions or hosting sites would be welcome.

    Thanks!

I wish you the best of luck finding a shared host that doesn't oversell.
I will be opening one soon, I'm just working on the website and the *temporary* forum solution we're going to be on.

How much Disk Space and Bandwidth will you require? If it's a new site, I doubt you'll need much but I can provide hosting.

Rarely doe hosts not oversell, simply because everyone else is giving away far more than they can and how do you expect someone to keep up? If I wanted to pay for a server AND make a profit I'd need to charge ALOT for a very tiny ammount of resources. Most users would not want this and walk away.

If you want a host that doesn't oversell, become your own host.

I think if a company is offering non-oversold hosting, they are simply targetting a "different" segment of customers. These customers mostly include developers & advanced users, who understand the fact (& effects) of overselling. Ofcourse, to a non-informed customer, it may seem like a overpriced deal.

Have you considered a clustered hosting company? the cost will be higher than shared, but should come in less than vps/dedicated with most companies.

even with a "non-oversold" company, there is potential for neighbouring customers to slow the server down for you.
