I think i need a new host

My site goes down at least once a day granted not for very long but its getting annoying to my memebrs and i am afraid they are going stop coming altogether
I am currently with siteground
can anyone recommend what i should do?

But i am completly new to all of this so any advice would be appericated

If you are unhappy, there are plenty of hosting providers to chose from. What are you looking for in a host and what's your budget? Perhaps then someone can point you in the right direction.

right now my budget is slim i can probably do $10 or less a month if thats even possible
and i dont need that much space i dont htink but might need to upgrade later
we have a vB forum on the server and thats it with about 30 members and at most 15 on at a time so far
we have a couple hacks installed if that makes a big difference and a few skins
i really dont know how much i need to tell you the truth lol

You should be fine with your budget, I suggest you to visit Webhostingtalk.com and Whreviews.com to take a look to those potential hosts.
Do a research about them, take your time, you wont want to end in another host like the one you're now.

You having a small forum, i think issue is too many website at your server. You can check it by simple type www.domaintools.com/yoursite.com. Some complaints to your supporters are good method before do something

dude if you find a right host, you can live on a shared environment even upto 120 concurrent users, research it well.

What statistic do you have that "most" web hosts impose such a limit? Most refers to more than 50%...I know that we don't impose such a limit and other companies that I've worked for in the past don't either.
