You can definitely get directadmin licenses cheaper than that, $99 lifetime look around. It is quick compared with cpanel and doesn't add to the server load like cpanel

But I would Have to go with with $29 to see if the install goes well, and they offer support and will install it as well, big plus for me at this stage, but im learning quickly.

Matt, server will be ready in 10-20 minutes, it will have default centos 4.3 install. There will not be any services installed, its plain os install.

Matt, remember I said that server will came with blank OS install and all services you will have to setup yourself.

Anyway we can do default install of these services, but we will not support them nor they will be configured to your needs, just default installs. If you are not sure how to run these services I suggest to go with cpanel install.

There are no FTP, its blank centos install.

FTP server (vsftp) has been installed. Any configuration of this service could be done via /etc/vsftpd/vsftpd.conf file. The documentation is on http://vsftpd.beasts.org/vsftpd_conf.html

Just got back from the datacenter, I have just added a user account for you so you can use ftp.

ftp user = ****
password = ****

I have mysql 4.0.26 installed, i had to write custom rpms for the php install to keep the box redhat compliant so that took a little while of hacking. it is installed now and i have built and istalled apache 2.0.55 with mod_ssl and the most recent compatible APR(apache portable runtime), I patched about all the base security issues and really beefed up the versioning for all of the web frontend. THe webserver is online and I have genereratated some personilized self signed ssl certificates for you as well.

You can see your php install here..

and ssl should be working as well..
https:****

I also built and installed the lastest bind, version 9.3.1. Figure you'll ptobably need a nameserver, I will be progressing with the webmin install in a few moments, will update you when i am finished.

i also set up forced SSL for webmin switched out the webmin cert with your personal cert. You should be able to log in at https:****
