Might be an idea to make a list of just the best hosts for your technical & financial requirements, then work your way down the list till you find one who is happy with your content ?

That was what I thought too, but somehow most of the technically sound sites prohibit porn (Site5, HostRocket, etc). :/

The host we use does not allow porn, but mainly because they present an unusually high load in terms of bandwidth and resource usage. That's why I would not want to be at a company that hosted porn either. (IOW, not for "puritanical" reasons.) I've heard there are hosts out there that specifically targeted to hosting it, so they have the experience and technical facilities to handle it.

I have no idea how good they are but http://www.adulthosting.com/ does what you are after.

This is not a recommendation though .

I am with JJTEK Hosting and have been very happy with it. While signing up i did not notice anything that would prevent you hosting porn with them. This may be good for you as some Porn hosting sites i know can be expensive!

Simply get a dedicated box then it probably won't matter who you host with (unless it is GoDaddy's oversold junk datacenter where every trunk is full). Most hosts could care less what you put on your own box using your own DNS servers (they might not like theirs showing up in a lookup).

They just do not want you eating resources on a shared server.

I offer hosting, colo, dedicated servers. Adult content makes up a majority of my business.

If you have sites/content that are not legal in the US, I also offer servers in Amsterdam.

If you're speaking of general content and not a full blown pornographic website based on payments, shared hosting should be suitable, however, if you are looking to host a more traffic-based website, dedicated is really the only option.

With that said, throw a post over at www.webhostingtalk.com or look around a bit there, I am sure you will be able to find something for you.

If it is a vbulletin site, which I'm guessing it is...Its a no go. They will not support.
