    Best host for...

...a site that would only have vBulletin and a few other things. Maybe 100MB hosting, but 15GB bandwidth or something around there. Looking for something good but also really cheap...any suggestions?

Sounds like you'd be on the edge for a dedicated server. I'd check out EV1 or ThePlanet or hosts like that.

No way you need a dedicated server shared hosting will do you just fine. Just find a host, that actutally host vbulletin boards and that knows what they are doing with them.

Should not be hard at all to find a reliable host!

There are a lot of hosts out there, a great board to check for amazing deals is www.webhostingtalk.com they have a board dedicated to people advertising deals they have going on.

But don't go too cheap, because you get what you pay for.

Your usage sounds identical to mine, and I'm on shared, so try these bods:

You won't get any crap about vB overusing resources, and the site will be speedy too. See mine, link in sig.

I've seen other customers at the webhost I'm hosted at with 300+ people online on shared hosting without any problems. Unless tailfeathers' forums have insane growth and every modification at vBulletin.org installed, I really doubt that he/she will need a dedicated server any time soon.

I agree, I misread it as 150gb per month.

I think a good shared solution will do just fine.

where do you get all of these expensive hosts? lol

I use http://vizaweb.com I have the pro its gr8! its $6/mo and I get 1 gig disk and 70 gig b/w! also there are reseller plans and possibly some dedicated servers left... and other shared packages

Also the uptime is about 99%!

                      After looking at http://www.vizaweb.com/compare.php

Their php and mysql are out of date, i also dont see anything about what sort of server OS and stats.
