    classified ads using VB database?

Anyone know of a program that has searchable classified ads where we could use the member database of VB?

Really, we want to use it for personals on our website, but most importantly, it has to use the meber database from VB?

    Ideas, suggestions inventions welcome

Well it wouldn't be that hard to do....

    Add a couple fields.

    Redo a couple templates.

Create a special forum using the redone templates.

And you could do it all in vBulletin.

Why purchase a separate program? If you want to know more contact me.

email is slow on these forums. It takes a few days. I sent an email to Me2Be and it took 3 days for her to get it.

Send me email directly at [email protected] or try to contact me after 4:00 p.m. (PST) tomorrow (1/18/2000).

It's a server thing, although I often receive messages instantly from this forum. It's not all the server that sends the mail.

                Wayne,

Are you still doing some classified setups?

I am interested in adding a classifieds section to my site and don't know how to go about it. The search field will need to be pretty well defined.

:-/ Bumping a four year old thread is not a good idea... you should start your own threads!

                        Take a look at photopost.com/classifieds/
                        =)

Besides photopost classifieds, what great alternatives are available for v.3.5?

I'm searching for this one myself. It's hard to believe that Photopost is the only one out there.

so creat an entire classifieds ads system using just a forum and the changes you mentioned?

has anyone set up this suggestion?
