I recently inheirated information from a site that used VBulletin. However, I already had my site up that was in a wider spectrum to use the information. I recently came upon a link to an attachment that was within the forum. I have looked through all the files of the forum, but was unable to find attachments. Is there anyway to recover a file that was there without having to rebuild the forum, upload the db, and save the picture? Please help. Thank you.

JBWhitley,
The vBulletin software is ran through MySQL database. All of the attachments made are distributed into storage under the table of 'attachments'. The best thing you can do is to cycle through the attachment ID's and look for your file. If you have access to the MySQL database by, lets say, phpMyAdmin, you could skim through all the rows looking for your proper attachments and then go to that ID number. I hope this helps in your search for your lost attachments. Regards,
