I am looking for a news program.

I tired Newspro but it dosen't display news as a thread listing.

So any one suggest one?

Just the subject of the news story linked to a page with the full news story on it.

I'm pretty sure its possible with newspro.
Create headlines, and set your archive to include ONLY one news per archive....

You might also ask on their board about the static page hack (one html page per item)..

I'm sure you'll find a way of doing it, but ask for a confirmation in their forum, I'm not 100% sure.

wow, i just downloaded marticle and installed it temporarily on http://theprequels.georgeliu.com/marticle/browse.php for my starwars prequels site ... newspro in php looks nice, and i see stallion has already made a preview news hack for that

Sadly I'm going to have to stop making newsPHP, as you may have noticed there hasn't been an update in a while.

And its not as good as newspro...

i can't remember the url off the top of my head, but marticle was written by ed/mike, so check his sig for a link to it

newspro in php, preview hack didn't work for me looks nice though...

I seem to have a problem with Newspro in PHP it dosen't save the settings when I do a first time Install!
