    Cookie with subdomain?

    Hi,

    I have my vBulletin on a subdomain i.e. forums.domain.com

Is it possible to access this cookie on the front page http://www.domain.com or must I put my vBulletin under the main domain.

    thanks

    Michael

If you set the cookie to domain.com it should work

        Thanks for your replys

I basically want to say welcome username on the front page of my site. I have completed the code for reading the cookie.
My forum is under forums.domain.com but if I login to the board by accessing the board at http://www.domain.com/forums it works.

If I set the cookie path in vbulletin to "/" it still uses forums.theglide.com as "root".

Do you mean that I will need to modify the global.php file to set the cookies to http://www.domain.com? How would I do this?

        thanks

        Michael
