class recommendations?

I have very little knowledge of computer programming, html, etc. What computer type classes would you recommend for someone with very little tech knowledge but would like to gain enough to manage vbulletin sites?

A basic knowledge of html would be good. It will help you if you want to create a notice or make small changes in your templates. The files are written in php, so that could also be a useful class (although I just learned by doing, but then I had done some programming in other languages before php).
