I want to create a news page that i can embedded in my webpage homepage, does anyone have any blank templates that would do this..

this is a little vague... could you clarify.
specifically what are you trying to achieve?
do you have news in the database or in a text or xml file?
would you like the news to be updated even when the page hasn't been refreshed (using an applet or frame)?
do you need (do you already have?) a method to get news in?
specifically, you might want to ask yourself why this is in this particular forum area... it is for HTML. and since what you want is likely to require something like xml, xsl, javascript, java, php, asp, ssi, perl, cgi, etc then you might get a fuller and more helpful response by placing the question on a forum to do with scripting rather than a forum to do with formatting/layout.
but answer the top stuff and i'll advise anyhow
