Unfortunately there seems to be a problem with the GD-Libs. 'make test' hanged on testing for Bug #27582.Comment

4.3.5 was way unstable running on the setup in my .sig
Random crashes every few hours.
I had to downgrade to 4.3.4
4.3.4 has proven to have 100% stability on my setup since release.MCP / MCSA / MCSE / MCT

I'm happy to report that I've been using 4.3.5RC4 without experiencing any glitches at all!!
Version 5 now is a different story. Tried it before going live. With one user in the forums, my server load would jump to 3.0 and almost all of my 2Gig of memory would go away. We downgraded back to 4.3.5RC4 and now with 200+ users online I hardly never see the server load above .25 and have oodles of memoery sitting there wating for something to do.

I've compiled PHP 4.3.6 RC3 yesterday and the lastest snapshot some mins ago locally and both finished 'make test' even with --with-gd and all tests succeeded. Looks like good news to meComment
