    Vbulletin3 for Pocket PC!

Ok, so having nothing better to do all weekend long, I'd thought I'd make a site which takes a Vbulletin3 board, and makes it Pocket PC friendly. Firstly, only works on Vb3Gamma I think. If this receives positive response, I plan to make it support future versions. However, this is just a "feeler." So I'd like to know what everyone thinks.

This would have been so much easier if I had access to a db, instead it took LOTS of time to write a parser to parse the HTML. Currently only browsing is supported. Like I said, this is a feeler. If I "feel" people will need something like this, I plan to add in posting abilities aswell. Due to it parsing HTML in real time, and not reading directly from a DB, there might be problems with sites who have dramatially changed the default template, because thats what the parser is based on.

Anyway, I've setup the server on my laptop. It might be up for a couple of days for you to actually test it. Comments and suggestions appreciated!

the best way for this would, of course, be to have a non-tablebased design for the templates, and do all the styling via CSS only. You wouldn't have to do any HTML-parsing for the Pocket PC version, that way.

(I'm going to make that style btw. ^_^)

Surely it's a small matter to modify the vB3 Archive so it works for WAP?

Doesnt new mobile phones manage xhtml?
I can view news in my SonyEricsson T610 thats in XHTML
Wouldnt it be possible to do a 'lite' xhtml-version of the forum for phones or something.

the newer mobile phones can run Opera

which i demo'd at a local shop and it was pretty sweet.
