Does anyone else find this VERY annoying?

the little "thread preview" popup box thingy?

it was tolerable before when you just hoevered over the link, but not it just pops up anywhere and it's bloody annoying.

does anyone else find it a bit sheet or is it just me?

The mouseover activating the post preview tool tip is now over the entire cell not just the title text.

I did find it a little strange at first but, I have to admit, It's kinda' grown on me.

I noticed it too, and it is annoying. I liked it when it was just over the hyperlink.

I still have no idea what the hell you are on about. It seems perfectly fine to me if it's what I think you mean.

                  Where's the "Disable" button?

It's on forumdisplay - the tooltip displaying the first few words of the first post when you hover over the Topic Title/Pages/Author column.

I think it would be better put in a dropdown div (like the Quick Links etc. links), accessible by a small "down-arrow" image on the right of the topic name. It would work in Mozilla then too. I think it would also be a good place to put the reply/view count info to save screen space (you can judge the approximate size of a topic anyway by the number of pages it has).

And nuno, the "disable" button, AFAIK, is in the admin CP

I agree, it is annoying. I have to keep moving my pointer off the window as boxes pop up all over the place!

Admin CP > Forum Display Options (forumdisplay) > Length of Thread Preview Text

This setting allows you to specify how many characters of the first post in a thread to display in the 'title' tag of the thread title on the forumdisplay page.

Set this value to 0 to disable thread previews.

I just editted the forum display to make it go over the link again. I like it, but just not over the whole cell.
