Sometimes I use Beyond Compare, Other than that, I just use CuteFTP Pro and it's built in HTML editor (CuteHTML) to edit everything and anything.

Would have to agree there... I found it absolutely terrible. Which is a shame because I really wanted to like it... some of the features are fantastic, it's just a shame that as a package it's nigh unusable.

• Tortoise CVS
• Putty SSH
• WinSCP
• Adobe Photoshop
• MS OneNote 2003

That gives me just about everything I need.

I agree it can be frustrating to use, but are there other dedicated PHP IDEs that include those tooltips/code popups?

I found Zend to be good in every aspect but one - it's incredibly slow. Just holding down a key will often create a good deal of lag in there. :-/

Other than that, I like it.
