      I've ruined 3 keyboards.

I usually just hang it outside over the washing line and soak it with a hose and let it air dry. Though that only works with wired keyboards, not too sure about the wireless variety.

This is wireless. Space wouldn't work, Caps Lock on Windows opens Outlook whilst on Linux it does Jack. The Num Pad keys are just completely random. Though the space bar does now work so lets hope.

I've taken several keyboard apart and had to manual dry them from my random spillings of coffee.

the one i'm using now is the one that i damaged the least. only the left windows key doesn't work right, and the left CTRL (when i'm copying and pasting it closes the window when i press it)

Some people (like me) basically live in front of their computers.

Yeah... sodas do a great job on them! My step daughter spilled a Coke in mine and it hasn't worked right since. I have taken it apart several times to clean it but whenever it gets cold some of the keys seem to freeze up more than when it is warm. Isn't sugar, water, and electronics great!!!

Of course if you had a Microsoft or Logitech keyboard they are designed to be "spill resistant" so you can't stop the keyboard from working altogether - Microsoft send replacment hardware out on request too - Suppose thats what you get for the extra few quid a good brand keyboard costs

Sodas also do good jobs on PS2s. I learned that the hard way.
