Yes, bought one in August. $5.00 USD a year(plus tax) is the cheapest I have seen.

This probably is the cheapest you will ever see them, since it costs a registrar $6 for every domain. Verisign gets $6 from every .com and .net sale, EV1 is selling at a loss to get its name out.

I would say it is a promotional deal, they later then raise it to where they are not losing money, but earning $1-$2 per domain; just think of how many have been sold .

I don't personally see them raising it to $10-$20, because they still want to remain low, but I would say they will at least raise it a bit so they can earn back what they have originally lost.
