    Photopost drops price

That is one awesome deal, I was looking and they now have it for 99 dollars...so I guess if you were waiting for a deal...there it is!

It seems like a really good deal for a photogallery, and I think I am willing to give it a try.

Well, they regularly drop their prices from time to time depending on market conditions or depending on the season I guess ... I bought mine for $99 last year

              hmmmmmm.

I've seen some gallery softwares for free. And, I must say, one in particular is just too GREAT to be free. In my opinion, the free one I'm talking about is the best Gallery software out there that I've seen. But, I'm not going to name it. So, don't ask.

 That which is obvious, needs no introduction.

it's got a number in it! LOL

If you're not going to name it, why mention it?

                    (tell me)

                      coppermine.sourceforge.net

Since the last time I checked, it has grown tremendously. I'm going to get rid of Photopost and switch to coppermine.

I'm utterly disgusted with Photopost's developers' attitude:
Someone suggests making security checks on the queries; they respond "Why should we? You shouldn't be messing with the url's and the $_POST values anyway!"

And that's just the most recent stupidity I saw at their site.

I highly regret ever giving them 150 dollar, since they do not deserve it.

Ofcourse, this is all just IMHO

I use 4images myself for my gallery (see sig). I like it quite a lot, and while it took a while to learn the in and outs when I customized it, it became quite easy. I used Coppermine before and didnt like it, and I used a ton of different freeware scripts, but ime 4images is the best one so far. It does need work on somethings though, but overall I think its a terrific script, especially one thats free.

4images is the one that I use right now, but I find it very dificult in learning on how to use the template system. I am going to look at coppermine, and I do think that photopost is a great but so are many of the free galleries.

                          Thanks!

Coppermine was lacking in my opinion, the way it handled the files within the directory structure was aggrivating.

I use Gallery, and I love it. It does everything I need it to do.

Wouldn't mind having Photopost integrated into vB though.
