I always thought links and shortcuts are displayed with that little arrow...
It looks like you've found the regedit option to disable it

Don't know what the look of your desktop has to do with hating Windows XP or not. I can make Windows XP look just like your desktop in about 35 seconds.

My Desktop

The wallpaper is my own design and can be found at http://ksilebo.deviantart.com. I dont like icons on my desktop. The skin I use is for windowblinds and is called "iSkin." If anyone really wants it, I can upload it, I downloaded it using skincast and didnt get a source.

Ive got no "cleanliness" problems with fresh xp theme

I see absoutly no point in buying a dual 2.0 G5, considering the price markup Apple have. The only possible way id ever buy one is if i couldnt build a better PC for the same price (dual xeon 3.0 or 3.6 HT'ed...)

Of course they're overpriced.
But I'm getting increasingly interested in Panther.. especially since Longhorn is quite a while off

I'd get a mac, but then I wouldnt be able to play most of my games. Also, I couldnt get the same amount of apps for most of the things I do.

However, if anyone would like to get a Powerbook G4 for me, I'd gladly accept it.
