I've been around since March 4 of this year and have banned 15 people to date.
How old is your board and how many users have you banned?

None so far... been open for 2 days though, so that would explain it -
There are forums I go to and now mod at that in their earlier days it took forever and a lot of stuff to get them to ban, and nowadays you say "Ban ______" and it will prolly happen.
Not that that's a bad thing

www.Warpstorm.com has been open as a forum since November 2000
.
it went from UBB 5 to UBB6, then to vB2, and most recently vB3.
it's had 8 total times down, right now it's down (host issue). We've gone through different directions with the site. total people banned (not counting AEs) would be about 10. total, maybe 100 or so. We have a core group that comes back all the time and who I enjoy chatting online with the most.Comment

My boards, using different software (started with Matt's WWWBoard) has been on-line for over 8 years. In that time we have had over 30K different registrations and over 2 millions posts. With the early software, you couldn't ban people.
Over he past 4 years we have trimmed the databases (used UBB in the past and we had to keep the boards trimmed because of software limitations) so in the past 4 years we have 8700 active (posted at least once in the past year) members, 430K posts and 250 people banned.Comment

I don't like to ban people, but if your sole purpose is to bring my site down, I ban you no problem.
