I'm right there with you on that particular concept. I don't think it's anyone else's business but Jelsoft's whether I'm licensed or not, and I'm not a fan of anything that would allow Joe User to click and see if I'm clean.

I do think it's okay for people to contact Jelsoft if they suspect a board is pirated -- or if a site is distributing pirated copies of vBulletin. That's in my interest, and everyone else's interests to prosecute that kind of thing.
