    Which browser(s) do you use?

    Which browser(s) do you use?

For me, it's Netscape. It's Mozilla based and Mozilla is without a doubt the best browser currently in existance. It's 100% W3C compliant. Meaning it renders all webpages with proper HTML tags correctly. And it's open source.

I look forward to the day when people quit using IE, it's junk.

Make sure that you check any of them that you use, this is a multiple choice poll.

It's not a poll at all.

I used to use Phoenix but it got to be out of date and since it won't co-exist on my computer with Mozilla 1.3, the Phoenix was burnt and didn't rise again.

Mostly I use Internet Explorer. It is just easier. I have Mozilla installed and use it occasionally as well.

why do people hate IE so much? I've come across many more designs that break in other browsers than in IE (likely becuase people worry most about IE, but nonetheless), and there's no functionality that people use on sites that can't be taken advantage of with IE.

Granted, it may have its shortcomings, but it does a pretty good job rendering pages.

I use Internet Explorer 6 and Mozilla 1.3. I mainly use Mozilla's mail program (which beats Outlook Express hands down) but I occasionally use it to browse pages, too.

People hate IE for two reasons:

                    1.) It's made by Microsoft
2.) It's integrated into the OS

Some people just hate Microsoft products, but use them nonetheless.

The problem with OS integration is it can compromize the rest of the system if IE is taken advantage of, unlike other browsers that aren't integrated.

I use Mozilla 1.3 for daily browsing.

I check my sites in a variety of browsers. I dont hate IE, in fact I quite like it, but in my opinion until other browsers are taken seriously sites will always be "optimised for IE" which means "sloppy code that will break in anything but IE". So I try to support it by using the best alt browser.

I still use Netscape 4.x for my mail, and have been using IE more and more as VB and Netscape 4.x dont go well together.
