You didn't ask about dog lovers.. You asked about cats so you can't determine if they are a minority or not.

Personally, I have 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 turtles, 11 fish and a bearded dragon. So while I voted yes above, I also love my dogs and would never get rid of them.
