You really want to use telnet to restore MySQL dump files. I remember reading somewhere that phpmyadmin could restore backup files, but I doubt it's as reliable as telnet.Comment

No host in their right mind about security gives telnet - ssh works the smae way but much much more secure .
AS far as web based restore function, is feasible (an dis availible in phpmyadmin) but it is unreliable since restoring a backup takes time - and php tends to timeout after 30 seconds.Comment
