Sorry is it not allowing you to go to the picture? It should be fine if you view on the site?

How about giving us a URL to a page on the site with that image then

besides the distaste of seeing crawler918 there I meant there were 40(39) crawler sessions, that seems abnormal. I've never had *that* many.. and why would 9 spiders crawl me at once?

Yeah, google's been real busy yesterday ... had approximately the same number of googlebots crawling my site last night...

Of course, unless they've finally updated their 4-5 month old database, getting crawled is a fairly useless thing.

Ooo... that's gotta put a dent in the server!

From what I've heard, crawler918 is nothing but bad news -- best to block it using .htaccess (as it doesn't even follow standard robot rules and load the robots.txt)
                      :)

It was an article at TeckWizards... which seems to be down right now...

Basically, it crawls your site and reports back to its company to notify it of any copyright infringements that are present at your site.

Google bots are a tool the google use to retain links for search purposes.
It works by going through hyperlinks on websites.

I've never, ever noticed my site being crawled before. I've seen tons of othersites getting crawled what seems 24x7, but I've never seen mine crawled....
