v3 - green or purple?

As said in the above link I would be interested in making a mild green skin for v3, which would go as a default. There was also a idea it could be silver or purple? You choose - you have the power!

Pretty dark red backgrounds that look like painted red with bold white letters in titles and soft light (yet not that bright) red-ish tints to make up the content give a very nice look to vbulletin!

Although I love the maroon, the pink-y color on the forum part is a little to girly (even for me)...

Maybe the maroon, with plain old black and white. Black background (on forum part) with white text, and maroon header sections with white text might look sharp.

Just no PINK!!!

It could be, on the other hand - orange / silver color scheme. But god forsake - never shall it be pink!

Reds go well with a clasic black background.

If not red-black, I'd vote for silver/blue/black.

I find the best color schemes are dark backgrounds with light font colors. Brighter backgrounds are hard on the eyes really, and I mean in a physical sense, not aesthetic(sp?) sense.

This is a pretty arrogant assumption and offer considering you don't even own vBulletin or at least your status says you don't own vBulletin. You also criticize the graphics and the work done on the product yet, have never shown anything you could do. Let alone do better.

Why are you offering to do this simply to get your hands on the code? There are many other fine and talented owners who we could turn to first and offer to let them make a default skin for the product with.

I believe the color scheme for vBulletin has already been picked and the interface is being played with to see what could be done. If you want to make a vBulletin 3.0 style, then purchase the product and make one afterwards. You can then either give it away or sell it depending on whatever suits your fancy.
