I'm not a member of the Jelsoft staff so I'm in no way speaking on their behalf, but it's to my understanding that if Jelsoft determines that the site in question does not hold a valid license, then they turn it over to a group known as the "Nuke Pirates" who contact the web hosts informing them that they have a customer who is running an illegal vBulletin.
But again, I'm not part of the staff so I'm only speaking from what I've read before, and not on behalf of Jelsoft.Comment

How about a hack that detects the phrase "illegal board" and throws the user a full-screen popup with size 60, red bold flashing words that say "DID YOU READ THE DAMN STICKY?"Well, there it is.

That could screw up posts though in threads where people are discussing illegal boards in general, and not necesarily trying to report them to Jelsoft.Comment

I have what maybe 10 posts on this board. Ive asked several questions and no one ever answers. The only ones that were ever answered were the pre-sales questions I had. Then i come to the forums to let you know that people were taking money out of your pocket. Then i get 8 smart ass replies..........
