Hello all... I just set up my first real forum - www.clemsontalk.com. I go to clemson university and thought that it would be nice to have a web forum for student-student communications.
Now, whats the best way to get active members? I've thought about doing flyers & maybe getting stickers around on campus, but thats if I really get desparate.
It is kind of like a catch-22 starting off a forum. You need members and active posts to get new members, but you can't get new members when you don't have anything! I just started two days ago, so I'm not disappointed in the results.. yet. Just all the poeple who've registered so far are my friends.
Now, how did you guys get your forums to grow? Need advice.
BTW, you guys are all welcome to register and post as much as you like.. just pretend to be a CU student so that I can get new members.
