    Adminstrators

What do you do if you know an adminstrator of a vbulliten board is "messing" around with your account (i.e reducing post counts, changing title on purpose) just because he or she holds a personal grudge agaisnt you?

Nothing really, because he/she has the power to do as they please.

Maybe contact him/her and sort things out, or register under a new username.

Yes it is, but people have nothing better to do then abuse people over the Internet.

He owns the forums, so he can edit posts and stuff. Basically, he can do whatever he wants with your account. However, if he started slandering your real name, business or family, then you might beable to take some action against him. My suggestion is to leave those forums and go to a competitor's forums!

It hasn't come to that yet (although it might), but the admin already premenantly changed my Title (the one that says member, senior member etc.), to Jr. Member because i had like an idiot mentioned i did not like the title Jr. Member, he has on several accounts lowered my post count not because of spam (i know this because i asked his moderators), because i had like an idiot mentioned i like my posts and it makes feel good to have a high post count, and on serval accounts he has logged me out to annoy me purposely... so even though i know i can't do anything i thought i would mention this

              *shock*
              *horror*
              *gasp*

We have quite a few users who behave kind of like that (i'm proud of my spam^H^H^H^Hposts, i don't spam at all! i like my custom title which i got after 3000 posts).

although we do not lower postcount manually, we regularly block people's postcounts from increasing.

people regularly do what they can to piss off the admins & mods at out forums.. we ridicule them back & humiliate them if we have to... it's their fault for acting like they do.. imo
