What exactly is "Bomber Run"?

It's pretty much like soccer, but not exactly. There is one ball, two nets, and your mission is to get the ball into the opponent's net. There's a huge catch though, when you have the ball you CANNOT fire anything, you can only pass the ball. That's why doing it yourself is more or less impossible (unless AntiGrav is on, then you can jump twice, shoot the ball to the air, kill the played under you and catch the ball again), you must go in teams.

One technique that the bots are now using and I've picked up on is to temporarily chuck it somewhere, battle off the person attacking you with your most powerful weapon, then take it again and chuck it in the net for a score, w00t!

It's ok. It's pretty and nice looking, but not very playable, it reminds me of Quake 3...which sucked the big one. Replay rating is like a 1. Kudos for making a Linux demo though.

I've been playing FPS for years and the best FPS ever is Quake 1.

Quake1 DM was awesome, fast paced and pure mayhem, single player was very meh. In the iD realm, I say Doom is their best, but perhaps Doom3 will knock me off my ass.. Q2 and Q3 I didnt like at all.

But for me, Halflife is hands down the best FPS, single player wise and MP wise. I dont play HL mp, but I do play Day of Defeat, which Imo is the best online FPS game evar.

IMHO!:

Well you haven't been playing with the right people or the right levels in Quake 3 if you think it sucks or isn't action-packed. I play with some guys from work and a few months ago they were crushing me; now I'm almost on par with them.

The only thing I don't like about UT2k3 is the visual clutter, just too much to see at once.

Ok, I seriously need some help here guys. I finally know how to use adrenaline... that's cool. But this morning I played with someone who could fly. I know it's not the "FLY" or "GHOST" cheat, cause these don't work in MP, and I'm pretty positive it's not using adrenaline because he did for a VERY long time. And he wouldn't tell me how to do it!

I too saw somebody flying but my theory was that since it was a low-grav server they were bouncing off small bumps on the wall.

Adrenaline Combos:
When you get 100 adrenaline points, you can activate a combo (aka special move). They expire after a short time and then you have to gather more adrenaline to do another one. If you have an inverse mouse set, you may need to try reversing the order of the commands, ie - instead of Fwd, Fwd, Back, Back try Back, Back, Fwd, Fwd:

Berserk - Forward, Forward, Back, Back
Health Booster - Back, Back, Back, Back
Invisibility - Left, Left, Right, Right
Speed Booster - Forward, Forward, Forward, Forward

Re: flying, I think I flew just now... you start in the base, go into the teleporter but really slowly, then you stand there for a second and go forward... kind of works.
