    Uploading video etc

Does anyone have there board set up so their users can upload video or audio for others to listen or download? I am looking into having my users upload small animations that they have done, etc. NOthing major, would I just have to increase my upload limit?

    Thanks

Right, but be warned that attachments around 2 MB or so start to fail to upload because of how Apache and PHP are configured. You can always use your host's anon FTP.

For more support you might want to post in this forum to show you're a licensed user.

...although from searching for posts, it looks like you already have the capability of posting there

You can also incrrease the limit via the cp under general options.

Be sure to allow swf, avi, mpg, mpeg, and mov files too, all in the admin CP options for attachments.

LoL, Thanks, I am not running apache on this my new server, It is through IIS. Is there still a problem with the dropping after 2mbs?

                    Chap

Also what do you think should be the cutoff for the files?

I would say 2-3MB, if you run an anon ftp, I'd cut it at 5MB. If they have a larger file, they can RAR it into volumes.
