Is the vB Database Schema PDF Public?

In other words, I'd like to share the database schema that I can download in the Member area with someone else whoe is helping me write an interface between vB and another app.

I don't want to break any copyright rules.

    Thanks!

No... If it was public we would allow anyone to download it.

It may make sense that it is not "public" which is what you asked, but that doesn't mean that you can't share your copy with someone working with or for you. That's not how copyright protection works.

This is one of those things you really shouldn't have asked....

The vB developers and mods can't say, yeah give it to who ever...

But I doubt they'd sue you if you gave it to someone who your working with, as long as you weren't using to to make another BB

If a developer has access to your database they can extract the information anyway. It's just a little easier with the PDF.

I'll just clarify here... Yes, you may share the document if this person is working with you; no, it is not public. Just as the vBulletin code is not limited to only the license owner, and you can add more than one name for priority forums support, similarly you can share this support document between those you are working with.

              All the best,
