    vbulleting ¿?

    Hi there,

anyone noticed that a lot of people are talking about vbulleting?
Why is this so often misspelled?

    http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/searc...der=descending - 85 threads

    . . .
    . .
    .

Okay, okay - to be honest, I did that too when I was new to vB. Although I couldn't say why.
    Oops, still there: http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/searc...der=descending

    Have a nice weekend!

I'm sure if you could search for vBB you would find alot of them as well but the minimuim length stops us from finding it

Actually, the vbulleting thing is a common typo and not a misunderstanding of the name of the product. It comes mostly from touch typists who type a lot. Because many English words end in "ing", the fingers try to "complete the word" by adding a "g" to Vbulletin. I do this myself, although I usually catch it and correct it.

Maybe vBulleting is the act of using a vBulletin...

I currently go vBulleting for about 10-12 hours every day.

You have no idea how right Susan is. That's why I always say Marting (instead of Martin) and stuff like that.

Susan is a wise woman - I type vBulleting all the time too
And yes, I touch type (and quite fast too )... but I usually spot it and remove the 'g'

Same here, but I hardly ever don't notice it when I'm making mistakes.

I'm one of those writer-types who care a lot about spelling..

I hate when people say vBB, though... I mean, Winblows is purposefully wrong, but you don't see people saying "phpBBS" now do you? :/
