This doesn't look good. This explains the delay in vb3 release. The same thing happened with Ultraboard at version 3.

I guess I had better start looking for another forum software (this is the third bb I bought within a year my forum members are going to kill me ).

Hehehehe, let that be a lesson to you all. See how hard it is to enjoy a good joke in an online-setting? Some jokes are best served live, in close quarters.

There isn't really a delay. We initially hoped to have it out by Q1 but we never promise release dates until we are absolutely sure. As the developers have gotten more into development, they have adjusted the estimates to sometime around June for a beta.

Whew, I'm with you on that! I don't mind the "delay" - I'd rather vB take their time and make a great product.

I read this and started laughing. I cannot believe someone took that seriously. (No offense to anyone that did)

Since I already purchased a owned license, I couldn't care less
And it would depend on the increase .. from $30 to $100 would be a problem for me. But I doubt it would be so bad.

(yes, this is for when it wouldn't have been a joke; which it was obvious)

And if it would be true, no need to run to another software company. They give you lifetime support. The yearly renewal is only for downloading upgrade/updates. Your current version is feature rich and secure enough to last a lifetime.
