My other forum is very small - just 55 members and 398 posts after 8 months in operation. However it's a completely privtae forum used by an Optical industry group for doing collaborative projects online. It's pretty successful in it's own right.

My board has been up for two and a half weeks and ok it may seem I have a lot of members [170] but the lack of posts and activity means it is a "small board" at www.fusionwrestling.com

Mines been up since July 2001, and we have 172 members, but only about 10-20 actually post. For the last week we've had very little activity. A winnar is me!

-also, excuse the brown folders on the blue theme. Im working on a new theme that looks much better with it, but you cant see it unless your a member.

We are "small", starting just over a week ago, after "upgrading" from (can you believe it..) a MS Front Page standard discussion board. After 3 plus years it just crashed one last time.

We have 70+ members so far, and quite a few unregistered visitors who post. The new vb format has overwhelmed some of our previous guests (their in the glass biz, not the computer biz) so it may take a while for more of them to get comfortable.

It's getting harder and harder to get a good forum up without spamming these days.

I've had my board since January. I have 25 members.

I account for three of those members (admin, mod, and reg). Interestingly, my board membership has increased in direct relation to the amount of posting I do here.

People often do read these threads, and sometimes they also register at places they find here. I appreciate when people register at my site. Unfortunately, I haven't captivated my target audience yet with any insightful info.

It just takes time to come up with truly unique content, I believe.
                          Then the regulars come.

I have y'all all beat! Members: 21, Threads: 27, Posts: 29 after three months in operation. I hoping that it will pick up when our productions start up again this summer. http://www.austinshakespeare.org/forums/

I think that it looks good and I even made some minor changes to make it work better, like categories for the items in the calendar. But no one wants to come and play...
