    I don't think so. It's a subsidiary.

Not being sold. Just something we were told to do by the highest management. We weren't given the details on the change. It is most likely related to PCR Compliance, HIPAA , GDPR and tax law changes over the last few years.

        KKR still owns Internet Brands.

The portfolio companies shown represent substantially all of KKR’s private equity, Tech growth, Health Care growth, Global Impact and infrastructure portfolio companies as of September 30, 2022. Certain portfolio companies have been excluded as private market transactions or investments in which KKR only holds residual interests.

If you look at most Internet Brands sites they have almost identical copyright notices now, generally referencing either 'Internet Brands' or other appropriate subsidiary instead of 'vBulletin' in the attribution line.

Lots of companies are doing this type of thing now, just the way of the business world which has got highly regulatory and compliance focused lately (probably rightly so).

KKR has hundreds of brands so I can easily understand why they would not want all of them under the same incorporation. It would make quarterly filings a nightmare, amongst a number of other issues.
