Just a simple group I made for those who believe the product will succeed in future releases.
The bugs seem to be the only issue with me personally. And even though I don't keep track of JIRA, I've still noticed less bugs than their used to be. The product is becoming more solid.
A lot of other forum advocates seem to dislike the product. There's no reason in my honest (it really is honest) opinion why the software isn't some of the best quality for the price it's offered at but a lot of people choose other providers.
As far as I'm concerned, I own a new Xenforo board and a vBulletin 5 board and I believe vBulletin 5 is a better product out of both choices. If I still had a choice whether to migrate my Xenforo board to vBulletin 5 like I did, I would have chosen easily not to.
I have one piece of information for you guys about the product. This is a solid opinion, that I believe some people choose other providers because of the default style. When you see it in action on vbulletin.com you can easily tell there isn't much style to it and it's bland. As for the templates made by the creators, they all look excellent. Yet this original style doesn't have a look and feel to it that says "big community".
I have been through at least 20 different styles through 3rd party purchases and each and every one was unique it it's own fashion and looked remarkably well done.
vBulletin 4 had a great default style as compared to this one. To me, that seems to be the right-away with forum choosers. This is a solid belief in my opinion.
Anyways, join up and feel free to post any valuable information you may have in the group.
