    Opera

I just downloaded the beta of Opera, and wow is it amazingly fast! Although i dont like the way it looks and I feel uncomforatable switching, it is at least twice as fast as IE. If anyone else uses it tell me so I wont feel alone

the opera 5 for MacOS is now in full version and i think for MacOS X its in beta 3, i have to say that all versions of opera are good and they have a wide vary of operating systems.

I just applied a patch from vB.org which corrects some errors in the templates that stop opera from viewing the forums correctly.

Opera is able to pretend to be another browser. The default setting of Opera is to pretend to be IE 5. This leads to browserstatistics on servers are being fooled...

Considering Opera has the fullest, most standards-complient implementation of CSS of any browser, that's a bit rough. It's more likely the CSS it is attempting to interpret is out/not in the standard.

and if you want any JAVA.. well that's another, like, 7-8 MEGS of download time..
But if you think about it, IE is no different. Last time I checked, the smallest possible IE download was 50 megs.

It's still a nice little vacation every now and then, though.. not about to uninstall IE though.
XP with IE6 also needs that Java download.
