Does anyone know where I might be able to find a 3.8.6 license?

I'm just getting back into foruming, and I need a vB license to start, but I'm not a fan of vB 4 and vB 3.6-8 = my favorite software of all time. However, paying $195 to buy vB 4 just so I can download 3.8.6 seems a bit ridiculous. I'm not having any luck finding a used license with Google, either. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

You might want to try third party sites, though as a friendly reminder please do not offer your licenses for sale here, since that is agasint our rules.

Also don't forget a new vB3 license would have been about 180.

I've seen the 3.8 licenses go for around $40-80. I (now regrettably) sold mine a few months ago for around 40. I'm having trouble finding any for sale nowadays though. I can only seem to find the vB 4 version for sale on the third party sites. Can all the 3.8-only licenses really be almost gone/upgraded already?

its possible. Licenses can only be transfered once now, be it vB4 or vB3.
