What in the world are you getting at.

You're 17. I'll be generous and hope that that post is down to the exuberance of youth. Either that or you're the worst type of troll.

XF did not "rip off" vB in any way shape or form. If you knew anything about forum software you'd know that.

          Meanwhile, in Finland...

Aside from the complexities in migration and personal preference, liberal licencing/renewal terms for support+updates also are appreciable. Cheap enough to acquire and cheap enough to keep renewing, who would say no to that in this age when board owners increasingly attempt to not just recoup their costs but actually get some more loose change from their passion ?

No, they are copying ideas off announcements announcing the release of new software, here's a random demonstration:

"I am making new forum software called [INSERT NAME HERE]... blah blah blah blah blah...
Here are some of the original features it will have:
              - [insert feature here]
              - [insert feature here]
              - [and so on...]"

(I know that isn't very professional but its just an example)
So far I could see, Xenforo isn't using never before known features, or do you mean the secret "New Thread" button?

                  How is it cruel?

If I come up with a good idea for a piece of software, post about it publicly, then another firm comes along and puts their own twist on that very same idea then they should be applauded, not damned. They took an idea, and made it better. It's what keeps the market healthy, and the competition on their toes when looking for that "next big thing" to implement.

Its substantial for sure. Denying that is not realistic. But the vbulletin customer base is far from gone and there are still a lot of add on coders on vb.org.
