Who is Vbullitin's Closest Rivals In Forum Software?

Hello all,
I have previously made use of free hosting and yet I noticed that Vbulletin forums always get loads of traffic and followers.
But what other forum software tries to compete with this mega website? Are Vbulletin the greatest forums in terms of seo?
Because you guys are certainly not the cheapest! But I feel you are the best for SEO purposes and my future business plans.
