            It's not a risk if the seller has good rep. I have one for sale too. I sold one last week and have one left.

            I even helped the new owner install and configure it.

            If your smart you'll get a vB3.8 license and renew to get vB4 if needed later on. I wouldn't even touch vB4 till 4.1 comes out and even then! hopefully all the problems are fixed.

                What is your asking price, and what should I know about buying a transferred license? Is anything limited from a transferred license, such as future upgrades, etc.?

                  Just as good as one from vB but you cannot transfer it to anyone in the future.
