I would find it extremely difficult to believe any person off adulthood could say they haven't told a lie in some regard, hence I believe they would be lying by doing so.

Exactly. I applied for a bank job and they ask ridiculous questions like this to determine if your a good candidate. I put yes, I think anyone who puts No for those questions are liars.

I think for many, a good majority of our lies would be told during childhood... ie. Have you eaten your food? Yes mum... when you haven't. Did you break that toy? No mum... I just found it that way!

No, I don't know if it was because I was honest on my application or if it was because I was young and inexperienced. I'm still in college, but I answered all the ridiculous questions like this one truthfully, which looks bad and I know it does, but it's still the truth. I don't know if they respect you more if your honest on the application or if you should just lie and say No I have never told a lie, I have never thought of doing something illegal.. loll

I think if you answered no to that question, that alone would not get you the job... I some how doubt it would be that question that stopped you getting the job... more like experience / competition for the job.

Lies are BAD and can ruin your reputation as an honest person, but in some instances, such as Network Marketing, "lies" are essential as you pretty much have to fake it to make it! Btw, I'm loving the layout of this VBulletin Forum! Even the reply field is very clean and clear

Its a rare day that you would ever catch me in a lie. I find the truth to be far more offensive and fun.
However i do joke and kid around. Which could be construed as lying.
                        To conclude.
If i get interviewed by police i have this theory. lie, cry and deny. So i guess i am one big walking contradiction (who has trouble with the english language despite being aussie )

Who doesn't lie. C'mon. We're human. Arrogant to say we're perfect and never lie.
