I am looking for a vb owner, preferably of a forum about fishing, hunting, or outdoors stuff, that I am not directly competing with, ie. Another part of the country or world... To mentor my small vb forum: http://www.ontariosportsmanblog.com/upload/forum.php I am up to 37 users in a little over a month of the forum being alive. Although I am looking for someone already with a fishing forum, I WILL take any and all advice from other vb owners.
I am looking for other vb owners to mentor me...

I would also suggest you upload the files into root (public_html) ... having /upload/ in the url just looks bad.
edit:
a) I see you are not using the suite, just the forum. in that case, try moving everything into the /forum/ folder...
b) You also should consolidate the # of forums you have. Better to have less forums and look busy than have a lot of people posting and appear as if the place is empty. Rule of thumb is about 5 or 6.
c) remove the ads for now.Plan, Do, Check, Act!Comment

Hi, and nice to meet you.
Reeve is correct about consolidating your forums. You should think about what categories you want, and then group your forums by category. The forum icons are nice but you need to scale them down from their present whopping size... I think 4 Meg may be a record for a forum icon,
There is a lot of knowledge here at vB, so you are in good hands! Welcome to vB,Comment

So I'm working on all your guys styling advice... But right now I have a bigger problem.... Yesterday weird stuff started happening on my forum. It feels like it has been hacked but I don't know because I've never had it happen.
1. I'm getting this error when trying to enter the individual forums: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '<' in D:\Hosting\3848682\html\upload\packages\vbdbsearch\indexer.php on line 465
2. in my cp the topics will not collapse or expand individually
3. the help buttons are not working.
4. I had problems with the ip not resolving in the Whos Online.

If you REALLY can't say ANYTHING nice to me at all on this forum, then I am going to go insanely mad at you. I've had enough of the UNTOLD ABUSE you are all giving me and you should really be CONSIDERATE of other people.

Update: I agree it is turning into a support thread, however I fixed my problem #1 by reuploading the problem file, still having problems with the rest. Can someone say if they are still getting a warning loading my forum.
