    Best Browser..?

I am sure this has been posted multiple times on this giant forum but I am far too lazy to do some research.

I am a huge Firefox lover and can not stand Opera or Internet Explorer.

But according to this link, I should actually be using Opera because it's the "best."

Any advice? What's your favorite browser?

Google Chrome is my default browser. I prefer it to Firefox for speed and screen real estate and of course it's WAY faster than IE. (yes I know, what isn't?)

IE8, Firefox on the Mac, considering switching to Chrome.

Was an avid FF user, but got the taste of chrome and I love it.

I've been a die-hard Firefox fanboy for years, but I'm considering the same move. The only two things holding me back right now are:
                1. Chrome doesn't yet have a web developer toolbar that comes close to the one available for Firefox.
                2. It doesn't support Roboform, which is a must for me.

I know there are some built-in features for password and form filling, so I could probably learn to live without Roboform; but I really want a robust web dev toolbar to work with.

As far as I know they have some sort of firebug for chrome now. I am only considering it on the mac since firefox has been a bit weird and laggy as of late.

Opera is the best, using it for years now, before it was firefox, IE is the worst of all beside safari.

I do like Opera, but the sole reason I'll never use it as my default browser is because it has never - even to this day- correctly rendered a certain piece of code that I wrote years ago. The code is perfectly W3C compliant, works on all other browsers, including as far back as IE5, right up to Chrome's latest, and yet Opera doesn't/won't/can't process it correctly; even in Opera 10.5. That tells me I can't trust it to display my work as I intend it, so even though I use it for testing, it will never be my main choice as long as that piece of code doesn't work.

Yes, I reported it many times, but nothing has ever been done, which is not only sad but completely baffling.

Chrome has a nice integrated debugging tool however still not on the same level with Firebug. I personally use Chrome when i am surfing and use Firefox & Chrome during development. Chrome is way faster compared to Firefox and uses less system resources.

Fire Fox Public R, it has issues, but there few and minor.. It/s fast, skinnable, i find the skins will lag you, and have never found one worth using anyways.. Overall, its the best i have used ..

I like the WebKit rendering engine best, so I tend to use either Safari or Chrome. I like the extensions of Firefox, but now that Chrome has extensions, I find myself using Firefox less and less. I find Safari 4 to be a very quick browser, but it's quite limited on Windows. At least on Mac OS X you can use some third-party plugins like Saft and 1Password to make it a bit more useful.
