as much as i hate to agree even in the slightest with Gladius i too noticed how much worse it got after the switch to vB4.

i do not mean the server is slower just that the slow downs are more frequent and last longer.

why not upgrade the servers if they are all that old ?

I am pretty sure I read that they are evaluating the issue right now and trying to decide what they want to do regarding the servers.

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

They should upgrade to a network of linked PS3's networked together running a linux build. :P (I just wanna see if it would work....)

For some reason, I have the feeling that is NOT one of the options on the table.

As I said in post 11, work will be carried out shortly to resolve the problem

Guess I was always lucky. Didn't have any problems until the switch to 4.0.

I guess we should be ready to throw more hardware at big boards once we feel that 4 is worth switching to. :/

i never saw a board THAT big.

i wouldn't want to know what the DB size on that is like.

stats from one of the bigest boards i belong to and they just did a mass prune of members and some older posts.
